St. George, Utah. Merrill Osmond, lead singer of the Osmond Family, is proud to announce that the 5th annual Youth Pioneer Production is **FREE ADMISSION**. This musical performance and firework spectacular celebrates Utah’s pioneer and Native American heritage, making this the largest pioneer production in the state. Please join us in our celebration July 24 at the Legend Solar Stadium, 501-551 S 700 E, St George, UT 84770. Doors for the event open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 10:30 p.m. with a spectacular celebration of fireworks to follow. More information at: www.thePIONEERlegacy.com
You can experience the Youth Pioneer Production as 150+ local youth dancers and singers perform these epic struggles and celebrations telling the story of how they traveled through the untamed valleys to Utah. "We invite and encourage everyone to see our incredible and talented youth support their Utah pioneer heritage,” said Merrill Osmond, founder and executive producer. “Our youth work very hard, and they are an outstanding cast of characters. We are very excited to share with you our Youth Pioneer Production,”
In July of 2012, Merrill Osmond and his sons Justin and Shane brought the annual Youth Pioneer Production to Salt Lake City, Utah. The re-birth of Merrill’s production was met with an amazing reception throughout the event. Hundreds of local children sang and danced in front of an estimated crowd of 10,000 people. Fireworks throughout the show and then a spectacular fireworks finale at the end of each performance makes this production one of the largest firework displays in the state of Utah.
With our new partnership with Dixie Days of '47 and Dixie State University, we are excited to announce our new home at the Legend Solar Stadium in St. George, Utah.
Each year, The Pioneer Legacy benefits the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund by helping 10 local deaf and hard-of-hearing children with the gift of hearing. Since 2010, the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund has provided more than $100,000 worth of services and hearing aids to deaf children all across the Utah. Justin Osmond founded the organization in honor of his grandmother, Olive Osmond, the matriarch of the world-famous singing Osmond family. “At the age of 2 I was given the opportunity to hear, and I want to pay that forward through my foundation, the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund. Through this event I am excited to help as many children experience the gift of hearing as possible,” said Justin Osmond, who has a 90 percent hearing loss and is an accomplished violinist.
